The family in California, during our travels. Pinotinoway is always collecting supplies for my small business.

As much as this site is dedicated to Pinotinoway (which translates to ‘the coming wind,' my son’s traditional name), I would also like to provide posts on other interests such as culture, art, storytelling, travel, wellness, humour and politics.

Taken during one of travels to spend time on the land.

This will also be a place where, whenever possible, I can share my experience as a jeweler, an Indigenous jeweler, an artist, a writer, workshops, and events, and where I can share new creations with you.

One of Pinotinoway’s earliest designs, these beauties were shipped to Thunder Bay, Ontario. Harvested birch bark and sterling silver (925).

When I remember(!) I will share these posts to my ‘Buy Me a Coffee’ account, titled under ‘Ozhibiige.’ As an independent writer and artist, I would appreciate any small acts of kindness.

Pinotinoway’s latest creations, you can find these earrings under the tab ‘Latest Additions.’ These are tassel and hematite earrings made with harvested birch bark.

Pinotinoway is made possible by my family, friends, and community, and each day I am grateful for their presence, love, and generosity. Love you always.

I will leave it to this for now. But please come back and read our posts!

Happy Reading.

Love Pinotinoway
